Like with most machines, she had taken to building one rather easily, and she had been tempted to make even more—though Luke insisted that they might want to make. She understood his discomfort at the time, and still does. All of this is messy, and again, her first reaction to it had been to run away.

She had even taken up the lightsaber later only because Finn had been on the ground, and it had come to her, resisting Kylo Ren's call. That had been significant, too.]
