[Korok doesn't have a lot of energy lately, but he takes what he has and carries it to Eversong. He can't remember the last time he saw any of his awkward extended family (was it even proper to call them that? He tried not to think about it too hard), but after how the tension had raised in Orgrimmar, he was looking for any excuse to not be there.

Making the journey across the sea is not easy when blind, but he manages with his staff to guide him. He had considered traveling back to Alterac to find another Frostwolf to bond with, but had not yet made the commitment. After all, he was old. There was no telling when the ancestors would take him.

He gets a lot of nasty looks from elves these days thanks to Garrosh and though he can not see the glares in his direction, they are keenly felt. Its a slow journey, with a few awkward stops from guards and constructs heckling him to inspect the cargo he carries under his arm before he manages to locate whos door he is looking for.

He taps the frame roughly with his wolf-headed staff and pulls his furs a bit closer as he senses someone stopping behind him to watch.]

[It's unexpected: they don't get many visitors these days, honestly. Well, Aurelius hardly gets visitors at all, and Kunyahdri moved out months ago. Or maybe years. She's bad with time like that.

Even more unexpected is the face that greets her once she tugs the door open, Korok's towering silhouette kills off most of the daylight streaming in through the frame but she can make him out just fine-- would know his every feature if it was five hundred years between them-- and closes the few inches between them now in a rush to throw her arms round his neck with as much of a leap as she can manage.]

[He wasn't entirely sure what he was expecting -- frustration, maybe. A huffy scolding about how he never visits? Certainly not the hug. Luckily, he is still solid muscle even in old age, and only stumbles a bit when Lysta throws herself at him.

He steadies himself with his staff and a smile curls just a bit around his tusks. He gains some balance and wraps one large arm around her while still holding his weapon, which seems to be enough to send the onlookers on their way.]

I suppose I am not interrupting, then.

[fashionlysta]

Uh. No? [The house is empty; there's nothing to interrupt, and she leans off with one arm to motion towards the vacant living room as proof.] Come on, come in. Don't stand out there forever like a stranger.

[stormwolves]

[He lets her go and readjusts his weight and his cargo, reaching out with his staff to feel his way through the doorway without bumping into anything valuable. He stops and holds out his pack.]

I know you prefer more extravagant dress, so I did not bother attempting to saddle you with the latest Kor'krom fashions.

[He sets his staff against the wall and pulls out a few wrapped meats, lightly smoked and seasoned.]

I do not know if boar is to your taste, but...

[She takes them without hesitation (Lysta doesn't do cooking, but calling up her brother in law for it takes less time than trying to learn) fixating instead on the important part:] What's a corkrum?

[He barks out a laugh and picks up his staff again after tucking his bag back under his arm.]

Kor'kron. It means "Sons of the Horde". They were once Thrall's elite guard, before Garrosh was given his mantle.

Oh. [Lysta mulls it over for a long moment, matching sounds and consonants to things she may have heard once or twice before on streetcorners or in class, and whatever a 'Garrosh' is, she has enough sense to assume from frowning lips and furrowed brows that it is bad.] Definitely not what I want to be dressed like, then.

Even if it is exotic.

Exotic for your kind, of course.

[Its a playful sort of quip, and he reached over to pet her head. He does it slowly, like he's trying to avoid messing up her hair too much.]
