[It was becoming harder and harder to hide his movement in the City with so many eyes on him. Granted, that had been exactly what he had wanted, though it would have been much easier if the Master was still around to scare off the more brazen folk who had been following him around. For now, he simply had to rely on witless cultists covering his tracks. So far, they had done well...but Kel'thuzad was not a fool. Without more numbers, they would be swept aside and he would be face to face with the ground. Again.

Not the worst fate in the world, but not one he was looking to repeat.

Today, he abandons his more traditional necromancy robes in favor of a modern day suit to blend him with the business crowd he was recruiting. The boney mask that typically covered his sunken face was replaced by a magical spell that restored an imagine of youth, and colored his hair black to prevent suspicion. The glow of his eyes was hidden as well, though the chains that usually circled his waist has been relocated to his wrists, hidden expertly under his sleeves. A very convincing disguise...for most.

He bears just a bit too much resemblance his past life, but anyone just passing by the man and his collection of people gathered around him on the streets would not pick up on that. Not until they disperse with papers in their hand and he turns to walk off.]

[What confidence he lacks, Liadrin has. In equal parts. Because they're opposites in every aspect, and what drives him underground puts her in wide, open spaces. Into crowded streets with the slant of an easy smile on her face. One that would stay there if not for the fact that when the street crowds narrow in she missteps-- running shoulder first right into an oncoming stranger.]

--Light. I apologize. Are you all right?

[If there was anyone Kel'thuzad didn't want to bump into, it was this woman. Instinctively, he reaches up to grab her arm (gently, of course) and feigns a look of surprise and apology. The magic gives his voice a pleasant tenor, absolving it of the ethereal echo.]

Quite an arm you have there. Terribly sorry. I really ought to be paying more attention.

Funny, I could say the same about myself. [She's quick to take his hand in turn, heavy, light-saturated gauntlet settling in across the back of his knuckles appreciatively.]

You are new to this world, I take it?

[He is impressively smooth in withdrawing his hand the moment he starts to feel his skin burn from the residual light and offers a charming, lipped smile.

He politely folds his arms behind his back to hide any disturbance on his skin and offers her a bow.]

You might say that. Frankly, I am surprised you figured that out -- though I suppose my reaction gave me away, hm?

[He adds some teeth to that smile.]
