[Could be worse.

Granted there's not much pleasant about finding yourself stranded in the middle of the Venezuelan rainforest without the bulk of your supplies (thanks for that favor, nameless mercenaries hounding their footsteps) and no map to go by, no stars through the thick canopy (not that Chloe could read them more than pointing out the North Star, that one dipper and the other thing that's supposed to look like a belt??) and no service on a busted, rain-soaked phone. She smells like sweat and dirt and more sweat, and there's nothing she wouldn't give for a shower right about now.

Chloe drags herself up across the high point of a rocky slope overlooking a steep drop-off into a vibrant splash of green below, steadies herself with the flat of her palm on the tree just beside her and lets our a low whistle.] Now that is a killer view.
