But then again, no one's around to judge, save for the sunshine hovering at her hotel room door.
"Try again in five-- ten. Fifteen...hours."

"Well, unfortunately we don't have that kind of time for you to sleep it off," she called through the door. Not if I want to get paid, anyway. She looked down at the door knob and thought about trying to just open the door, but Chloe wouldn't have left it unlocked, would she? Or had she been too drunk to care? Elena tried the door.
It was unlocked. She thinned her lips and walked into the hotel room, glancing back at the door once she was through it. "Well that's not safe." She turned her attention to Chloe and approached the edge of the bed. "Come on, sleeping beauty! I've got a little 'nectar of the Gods' for ya."

She looked at her watch and made a face before busying herself trying to discern whether or not Chloe was packed.
"--uh, in the interest of moving fast, I'll drive and you can, I dunno, sleep in the back seat or something, but we really gotta get going."

"No. No, no, no - I've got it just..." Movement. Not her best idea. "Ten minutes, bright eyes."
Never let it be said she's purely unprofessional.
Only mostly.

"Alright, but if you're not out to the car in fifteen minutes I might have to resort to drastic measures."
Do I sound like a dad on a road trip? Elena shook her head and started out the door but stopped, remembering the bag of pastries and getting one out for herself before leaving the other in the bag on the nightstand next to Chloe's coffee.
"I'll go see if I have some aspirin," She offered, headed towards the door again, her breakfast in hand. It was a long drive to Cape Horn and the winding coastal highway was bound to disagree with a hangover.
