Wow, her hair is way better than Donald Trump's. Please let's not put them in the same sentence. Kate would be so offended right now if she had any idea that Chloe were having such thoughts. As it is she doesn't know the other woman's within a hundred miles, at least not until she happens to glance over her shoulder halfway up the rope.

She's not dumb enough (like, say, Donald Trump would probably be) to have really believed there wouldn't be others hot on this trail along with her, but she'd hoped she'd gotten more of a jump on them than this. She runs through a mental list of who's good enough to have caught up to her - who could've pried her direction out of Rahim or (an even shorter list) put together the scraps of clues on their own and ended up here. Behind her Ray-Bans she squints at the shape getting nearer, trying to make out some tell-tale detail. What she gets is the glint of sun off gunmetal. Shit.

There's a fair bit of rope left above her and she scrambles, spidering up it as quickly as possible, and looking out for hand and footholds in the wall itself as she goes. They can't really make that shot, can they?

Is it really? Hard to tell with all this doom-and-gloom Raiders of the Lost Ark lighting going on.

And it's a long shot-- quite literally-- but Chloe doesn't slow in her rush to catch up, tugging at the trigger as the bullets run (temporarily) high, banking on luck or the off chance that Kate might just panic and rethink her current course of action. The higher she goes, the higher the risk of snapping her leg...or, you know, quite possibly her neck.

"Hey!"
